| Shivanjali Sweets and Spices, the pickle and snack making unit started operations with the production of snacks and pickles in March 2003 for underprivileged women who had expertise in culinary skills. |

| This was started to help women who could not learn tailoring skills. The unit launched itself with 5 women and has now grown into a 20 member team. |

| A Variety of spice powders, pickles, savories and sweets are produced, hygienically, with a touch of ancient wisdom. Readymade dough for dosas and idlis, adai and appam are very popular and have found a steady market in the city. |

| SSS undertakes orders for home made sweets and savories during the festive season. Bulk orders and export orders are also undertaken. |
